Federal Public Service Commission has announced the CSS 2018 Final result after conducting interviews and Psychological test. Shanza Faiq is the CSS topper of 2018 . This year law student got first position in CSS. She did  her B.A LLB Honor's from Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS in 2016 .

FPSC has announced final result of CSS 2018 . Finally 567 candidates out of 569 candidates passed the CSS exam and out them only 281 recommended for appointment in different Federal Government Department such as PAS, PSP, FSP and Pakistan Customs, Foreign Service of Pakistan, Pakistan Railway etc. 170 Male candidates recommended for appointment and 111 Female candidates recommended. First position in CSS 2018 is taken by Shanza Faiq belong to Punjab Province and placed in Foreign Service of Pakistan.

Number of Vacancies allocated to different occupational groups for CSS 2018 in Pakistan Administrative Service, Foreign Service of Pakistan, Pakistan Customs, Police Service of Pakistan, Pakistan Railway, Post office , Military Land and other groups for all provinces including merit positions of Punjab, Sindh (U) , Sindh (R), KPK, Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit and AJK . Civil Service Reforms committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Ishrat Hussain Ex Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan for bringing reforms in current civil service rules. Committee has submitted their proposal along with recommendations on Civil Service reforms 2019 in Pakistan to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for approval from cabinet. Still cabinet has not made any decision in this regard for its implementation. Main aim of the bringing reforms in Civil Services is to bring specialized bureaucracy and eliminate old concept of superior services and all the differences of cadre and Non cadre will be removed.
