Ans. CSS Screening Test is one paper MCQs type test to check the ability of the candidate in certain subjects whether he or she can pass that test and appear in CSS Final exam. FPSC has been given responsibility to conduct this test before CSS Final exam starting from CSS 2022.

Ans. Main purpose or idea behind introducing screening test is to bring only serious candidates in the Final exam by doing shortlisting through MCQ type test. Previously more than 10000 candidates appeared in the CSS exam and only 300 candidates were qualifying the said exam which was taking more time in the entire process of marking paper. Ans. No there will be no negative marking in the screening test so attempt all questions even if you don't know the answers. 

Q. Screening Test will be effective from which year? 

Ans . Screening Test will be effective from 2022 and CSS 2022 exam. 

Q. When the online applications for Screening test CSS 2022 will be accepted ?

Ans. Online Applications will be accepted from 14th November 2021 to 15th December 2021. Last date to apply online is 15th December 2021.

How to Apply for MCQs Screening Test 2021?

All the interested candidates who are willing to appear in CSS  2022 exam they will need to appear in Preliminary MCQs test before appearing in the final exam. If you will pass the screening test and score 66 marks out of 200 marks you will be eligible for the said test. First of all you need to deposit Rs. 500 fee in the NBP or state bank designated branches. When you have submitted fee you will need to fill online application form for the screening test 2022.
