Higher Education Commission HEC has announced PHD Scholarships for the Pakistani Nationals in leading Universities of US under US Pak Knowledge Corridor for the Academic Year 2019. The details of HEC PHD Scholarships is as under:-
Eligibility Criteria for HEC scholarships US Pak knowledge Corridor
- Pakistani / AJK National
- Candidates having an MS/Mphil Degree (18 Years of education ) from HEC recognized Universities
- Candidates with 4 Years Bachelor Degree (16 Years of education) are eligible for direct admission in PHD programme at US Universities
- Age Limit 40 Years for regular faculty and researchers of public Sector Universities/ R&D Organization , while 35 years for all others.
- Candidates with valid and acceptable GRE and TOFEL scores are required for Admission in US Universities.
- Scholars who have already secured admission or those enrolled in PHD Programmes in top 235 US Universities and 23 University system may also apply for scholarship
- Candidates must have strong commitment to serve Universities / R&D Organizations in Pakistan after the completion of studies.

Benefits involved in US PHD Scholarships
This scholarship will cover:-
- Living expense and return airfare however it does not cover tuition fee
- Candidates need to secure admission with complete fee waiver from a University among the selected 235 Universities or a University falling under any of 23 University System mentioned on US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor.
