General Science and Ability is the compulsory subject of each competitive exam . FPSC syllabus General Science and Ability previously known as Every Day Science Only is the compulsory papers out of three General Knowledge Papers. Federal Public Service Commission has revised the syllabus of CSS in 2016 so the Every Day Science was renamed with General Science and Ability with addition of basic Arithmetic and Analytical Reasoning and Probability in the General Knowledge Paper 1. Every Day Science paper is of total 100 Marks . 20 Marks are set for MCQs and 80 Marks paper is the Subjective Paper.

FPSC has announced the Final result of CSS 2017 after conducting Psychological tests and interviews. What was the difference of CSS 2017 result with previous years result of 2016, this time first three positions in CSS are taken by boys.  Muhammad Awaid Irshad Bhatti  is the CSS topper of 2017 and he has strong educational background . He has schooling from Aitchison College Lahore , from here he completed his O level and A level . For graduation he joined University of California and did BS(Hon's) in (Economics and Business) and Finally he completed his MPhil in Development Economics from Cambridge University. FPSC has announced final result of CSS 2017 . Finally 310 candidates out of 312 candidates passed the CSS exam and out them only 261 recommended for appointment in different Federal Government Department such as Pakistan Administration Service, Police Service of Pakistan and Pakistan Customs, Foreign Service of Pakistan etc.150 Male candidates recommended for appointment and 106 Female candidates recommended. This year all the top three positions are taken by Male candidates as compared to the previous year result of CSS 2016 First , Second and Third Position were taken by Female Candidates .

Custom Inspector Test will start from 24th April 2019 as per FPSC schedule announced by FPSC. Federal Public Service Commission has announced new 158 Positions of Custom Inspector in 2019. Candidates who had applied on the above mentioned posts of  has started preparation for the Custom Inspector as the test will be conducted from 24th April 2019 in 8 batches . FPSC has also already issued Syllabus for Custom Inspector Jobs. Many of the aspirants and candidates were asking when the test will be held.

PPSC has announced 702 posts of Service Center Officials in Punjab Land Record Authority . Punjab Public Service Commission has also announced syllabus for the posts of Center Officials . Syllabus for the post of Service Center Officials include General Knowledge including Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies).
